Founded in 1989, Celebrity Cruises offers itineraries to Alaska, Australia
and New Zealand, the Bahamas, Canada and New England, the Caribbean, Europe,
the Galapagos, Hawaii, the Panama Canal, South America and transatlantic
journeys. It merged with Royal Caribbean International in 1997 to form Royal
Caribbean Cruises Ltd.
Celebrity's fleet of ships is among the youngest
in the industry. The ships combine modern-day technology with timeless elegance,
gourmet cuisine, exclusive entertainment, spacious accommodations and the
signature service.
In fact, Celebrity's service continually receives
high marks Past guests and readers of magazines like Conde Nast Traveler
consistently rate the cruise line as one of the world's finest. After all,
there is one staff member for every two guests, so attentive on-board service
is the norm. Award-winning cuisine is prepared by world-renowned chefs and
culinary delights are made from scratch, using only the freshest ingredients.
Pamper yourself at the decadent AquaSpa, watch one of the Vegas-style
spectacular shows, try your luck in the casino or even play volleyball-the
onboard amenities can keep you as entertained as you like on your Celebrity
Cruise.
Age Requirements
No guest under the age of 21 will be booked in a stateroom unless accompanied
by an adult 21 years or older. This age limit will be waived for minor
children sailing with their parents or guardians in adjacent staterooms.
Celebrity Cruises does not accept reservations for student groups.
Please consult your travel agent for Celebrity Cruises' group policies.
Effective as of all sailings commencing on or after July 28, 2006,
the minimum drinking age for all alcoholic beverages on all Celebrity
Cruises is 21. Infants sailing on a cruise must be at least 6
months old as of the first day of the cruise/cruisetour. However, for
Transatlantic, Transpacific, Hawaii, select South American cruises/cruisetours
and other selected cruises/cruisetours, the infant (as of the first
day of the cruise/cruisetour) must be at least 12 months old.
As of April 22, 2008, the list of cruises to which the 12 month
minimum age requirement applies (in addition to all Transatlantic, Transpacific,
and Hawaii cruises) is as follows: Celebrity Infinity - January
31, 2010, February 14, 2010; Any cruisetours associated with these cruises
are also subject to the 12 month minimum age requirement. Denial
of boarding for infants who do not satisfy these minimum age requirements
may also result in the denial of boarding for one or more guests sailing
with that infant. No refunds or other compensation shall be due from
the cruise line to anyone as a result of the denial of boarding to an
underage infant or other accompanying guests.

So to make sure you have nothing to think about except having a good
time, Celebrity offers the CruiseCare package of benefits: With
the CruiseCare Cancellation Penalty Waiver, if your plans go awry and
you cancel - or interrupt - your cruise vacation (for specified reasons),
Celebrity Cruises will waive the non-refundable cancellation provision
of your cruise ticket contract and pay you IN CASH the value of the
unused portion of your prepaid cruise vacation. In addition,
should you or your traveling companion need to cancel for 'any other
reason', you may be eligible for CRUISE CREDITS - up to 75% of the non-refundable,
prepaid cruise vacation cost. Guests must cancel their cruise
prior to departure and must request a refund through the program administrator
to be eligible for cash reimbursement or future cruise credits, as applicable.
Credits expire one year after the issue date, are nontransferable, and
are not applicable to holiday or inaugural sailings. Credits have no
cash value and, if applied to a booking of lesser value, will not result
a cash refund of any difference. Credits may not be used for deposits,
only final payment, and can be used only on the cruise brand originally
booked. Only original copies of credit letters will be accepted; copies
or altered letters may not be used. Brought to you by Celebrity
Cruises. *For NY residents, the CruiseCare Cancellation Penalty
Waiver program is underwritten by Stonebridge Casualty Insurance Company.
